Time for a change...
Posted by Sharma on Thursday 11 March 2010 - 10:20:33 — Posted in Site News
Though it's hard to believe Spring is on its way. And that fact, together with the permier of Tim Burton's wonderful Alice in Wonderland, has kick-started my desire to design into life again.
Just like nature the Faery Court will change and be reborn. And because I love the story of Alice in Wonderland so much, and because I am in such awe of Tim Burton's fantastic and twisted vision of it, it will be a Wonderland-theme that will adorn the site... at least over spring. Who knows what inspiration Summer will bring...
Best Regards,
Sharma Wild

Time to give the old Faery Court a new theme!
I have the header all done and most of the colours are in place. There's just a few last changes I will work on this weekend. So if you log onto the site and things look weird it is just me playing around with the CSS-file.
Have a great fall, my dears. Read, write, eat chocolate and ice cream and be happy!
Best wishes,
Sharma

Faery Clothes & Vintage Wear
Posted by Sharma on Thursday 23 July 2009 - 13:40:54 — Posted in Site News
The Faery Fair - a soon to be part of the Faery Court - is a small online webshop where you will be able to find clothes and accessories that whispers of times passed, of centuries lost... Of turn of the century romance. Our clothes fit and flatter the bodies of real women. It is our goal to make clothing that are feminine, romantic and timeless... Clothing that will be in style as long as women are.
At the moment the collection for Spring/Summer '09 is SOLD OUT. But the faeries and goblins are working on the Fall/Winter Collection. Inspired by the beautiful art of Brian Froud and Amy Brown this will surely be a collection worth waiting for! More information will be posted soon.
Best wishes,
The Faery Fair Staff

On The Subject of Writing
Posted by Sharma on Wednesday 17 June 2009 - 08:44:35 — Posted in Site News
I want the Faery Court not only to be the official home of the writings of Alterra von Feueres (known as Septimus here on the site) and myself, but also a resource for all those who wishes to write fiction in the fantasy/sci-fi genre. It is a cold, lonely world out there, especially if you, like us, has no clue about how the publishing system works.
We might not be able to give you any useful tips on how to get your work published, but to be honest, that is not what the Faery Court is about. This should be a source of inspiraton and ideas. I want to take this opportunity to invite all of you, members and guests alike, to join us. Post a plot-bunny or a poem that you find inspires you, maybe it is the lyrics to a song?
What inpires you to write? Share the magic with us. I think you will find that if you do you will be three-times rewarded.
May the Green Fairy of Inspiration visit us all,
Sharma
